Want To Make Money Online? Here's How To Cut In Front of the Line

Everyone wants to make easy money online. And the fact is that everyone probably could.

So, why isn't everyone making money online?

Well, it's certainly not because people don't like money. The real truth is much different.

If you want to know how to cut in front of the line, I will provide much more specific ways at the end of this article for you to consider.

Here's the truth: there is no "line." In actuality, there is simply a mob of confused people who don't know how to be decisive.

The fact is, that all sorts of studies suggest that the wealthy think differently. This is a fact. The other thing is that there are two mindsets - a poor mindset and a wealthy one.

If you think about it, the rich have a different approach to life altogether. They plan, risk and manage their money in a different manner than those who don't have any money. They also have a positive attitude towards life and opportunities. The first and most important step to true financial freedom is creating this mindset for yourself. This also involves a no-holds barred, honest look at your life and assets.

Creating a starting place is as important as moving forward, so it does not matter if you start with one dollar or a million dollars. In reality, it is all about the mindset and the will to move forward to creating your wealth.

I love getting into conversations with people about how they made their money. I tell them that I am making a very good living selling e-books. You would think that they would look at me funny. When in fact, they give me a warm nod of approval. They know that I also have the secret, a different mind frame. You see, it doesn't matter if you sell or resell e-books or you sell cars, money is money.

Personally, I know a lot of people who make money selling e-books. With tablet devices like the Kindle, Nook, and iPad, e-books will be in even greater demand in the near future. Every month, more and more people buy e-readers and are hungry for a variety of e-books.

If anyone were to look at the fundamentals of a business, you would always be better positioned to look at the future trends. E-books are the prime product to sell and resell online without 100% margins.

By no means is this the only page you'll be visiting today. However you can still leave with a personal gift that'll make a direct impact on your income.

E-Books - Why You Need to Write One

Let's say you've owned your business for ten years and you've learned a few things along the way. In fact, you might say you're at the top of your game. Why not share some of what you know? Writing your information and publishing it as an eBook is one of the best ways to boost your credibility and share important and valuable information - especially the information you repeat over and over again.

For example, a personal coach recently complained about having to repeat the same information every time she had a new client. It would take at least an hour to present this monologue, which often had to be reviewed again in future sessions. An eWorkbook was the perfect solution. By sending the eBook to new clients a few weeks before the first session, she ensured that they were already oriented when she met them, and they could immediately get to work.

When the personal coach complained that she didn't have time to write, I suggested she record the information and have it transcribed. After reading the first draft, she was motivated to add additional content to the book. Currently, she's working on a Kindle version that she intends to sell on Amazon. Because her process is unique and successful, it's likely that the eBook will cause her popularity and reach to grow. Who knows, she might become the next Tony Robbins.

How to do anything is a great reason to write an eBook. Are you an accountant with tax advice that can save your clients a bundle? Write an eBook. Are you a health practitioner who has figured out a way to lower cholesterol levels without statin drugs? Write an eBook. Can you teach someone how to write or deliver a motivational speech? Do you know how to raise chickens and feed a family of four in your backyard? Are you a dog trainer who has figured out how to housebreak a puppy in a weekend? Write an eBook.

People are hungry for useful information. If you've got it, share it with your prospects, clients, and customers. Not only will it establish you as an expert, but it will also garner you points as someone who is generous and helpful. This builds trust, which is the foundation of any good business or professional relationship. It also lets people know that you can communicate, and - no surprise here - people want to do business with someone they can talk to.

There's another benefit as well. Like articles, blogs, email, and other content, eBooks drive traffic - that's prospective clients and customers - to your website, which is exactly where you want them to go.

Creating An E-Book Cover - How To Get Your Professional E-Book Cover Designed For Only $5 At Fiverr

A colorful, professional e-book cover will help your new e-book stand out from the competition in the Amazon Kindle E-Book Store. When your e-book stands out, you sell more e-books. When you sell more e-books, you are very happy.

So if you want to be happy, don't skimp on a good e-book cover. Even if you have zero skills designing anything, for as little as $5 you can hire a professional designer on Fiverr to supply you with an e-book cover that will boost your sales quickly.

Fiverr.com is a very popular "micro-job" website featuring gigs encompassing a whole host of services -- writing, reviews, advertising, video, sending Twitter announcements -- but most importantly for you, there are skilled, qualified art designers who are a whiz at cranking out good looking e-book covers. All gigs are for sale for just $5. It's a bargain.

People selling their services on Fiverr -- or offering "gigs" -- briefly tell what they will do for the standard $5 fee. Most explain their offer in less than 50 words. They state what they'll do, how quickly they'll do it, and most add phrases like, "Will make changes to make you happy."

Some have accumulated enough positive reviews that Fiverr allows them to post "Related Gigs" -- these are add-ons or additional related services they can provide you, sometimes for $10 or $20.

If you've ever gotten frustrated dealing with a graphic designer who thinks you're wrong and they're always right, you'll appreciate this.

To hire one of these designers, create a free account at Fiverr.com.

Type "eBook covers" into the search box at the top of the page.

Sort the results by "Ratings." This will give you highly-recommended graphic artists listings. The good ones will prominently display their past work for your review.

Read through the reviews. Stay away from those who have lots of negative reviews.

It's not a bad idea to try someone just starting out. You'll be helping a fellow internet marketer get a foothold and build their portfolio, and you'll only be risking $5 if the project doesn't live up to your expectations. I'm betting, though, that you'll be satisfied.

Pick the "Gig" you like. You can send an email clarifying what work they will, won't or can't do. Once you're certain that you've found a good match, you can "Buy" the gig. You'll be directed to a PayPal checkout page to submit your $5 payment direct to Fiverr. They hold it in an account, and when the gig is completed, the graphic artist gets paid $4. Fiverr keeps $1 of the transaction.

Many of the good graphic artists will request information from you like:

What message are you trying to convey?Who is the target market?Do you want graphics included, or just words typeset on the cover?

You can send in a rough layout of your own. I'd recommend just letting their imagination take over. You can always request minor changes -- center this, change color of that -- although I wouldn't recommend making major changes to wording or switch from simple lettering only to full-blown graphics design at this point.

The e-book cover image is then posted to your Fiverr account dialogue page often that same day -- allowing you easy access to download it and then upload to the website where your e-book is being sold. Just be aware that Fiverr actively discourages direct communications between buyers and sellers, probably to prevent them circumventing the Fiverr system. Accounts can be closed for violations of the website's terms.

Time is money, and spending just 10 minutes finding and hiring a professional graphic arts designer for only $5 on Fiverr is a good way for you to keep more of both!

eBooks to Augmenting Your Online Marketing Campaign for Your Small Business

The other day, I was speaking to a young man who was building up his small online business, as he specializes in physical training, conditioning, and exercising endeavors. We had a dialogue about how to incorporate his writing, online articles, and knowledge into an eBook format to offer or give to his clientele as an incentive, also to promote his business and up his credibility and expert status. You see, he knows what he is good at, what he knows, and everything to do with the topic.

Now then, I do not believe it to be ethical to hype expertise - however, sometimes it makes sense to show what you know. My acquaintance indicated he did wish to put together eBooks but was sketchy on how to do that, or how to distribute them. He asks me two questions, perhaps they have been on your mind as well:

Do you have any tips on how to distribute eBooks?
How long do you think an eBook should generally be?

Okay so, my thinking on the eBook thing is two-fold, first, it seems that a simple 20-30 page book with some of his nutrition tips (articles) perhaps expanded, with some real-life stories makes sense. Then give it away for free if people sign up for your online newsletter.

Then a larger eBook 20,000 plus words for sale with the purchase of any services (free) or they can buy it stand alone for $29.95 and maybe you can allow others to sell it too, if they give you half the money or send someone to your secured server, then you give them half the money as a commission. Also list it on Amazon for $10 more, thus establishing a value, but if they buy it NOW it is less, or they get it free if they buy your other services.

Indeed, I would also write an eBook to help people start out, perhaps walking 2-3 miles per day, losing some weight, once they do move them up to a slow jog spurts within their walk, until they can run a mile, then two, then three, etc, and, as the weight comes off they will not screw up their knees etc. My acquaintance might use some other articles in his eBook if they make sense for him, by contacting the authors and promising to cite the source and get permission. In fact, it might help him get to the 20,000 words or assist in getting to 20-30 pages for the free-bee eBook.

Are you beginning to see the strategy here? All you probably need to get started are some eBook templates which you can get from Microsoft if you are using MS WORD at their online free-templates website, or email me and I will send you some that I have to assist. Indeed, I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

The Rising Popularity of the Ebook

As technology is advancing exponentially, even our way of reading has changed. Books always reek at paper and ink. Ah yes, holding a book with sweaty hands certainly released the smell of an old fashioned book. One of the healthiest ways of entertainment/ self-improvement. Of course, books have changed a bit. They aren't hand-written by monks anymore. And the cover isn't leather. The kind of paper is usually chemically manufactured, whether it be to prevent copying or keeping the book sustainable. Pictures are in color and printed with super technology. Yet, it is ironic how such simple objects are made with million dollar state of the art electronic machinery. The book itself has not changed much since the day it was made. That changed when the ebooks were introduced.

So what is an ebook exactly? Does it have legs and talk to you, asking which book you would like to read today? Indeed that would be awesome. Ebooks are basically virtual books. You download them on your PC, laptop, notebook or tablet to read. One might ask what the benefits are of such an ebook. Is it worth buying a virtual book and staring at a screen for hours and hours? Most of the time books are read for relaxation, perhaps before going to bed or during a break. Staring at an electronic screen only makes your eyes hurt when done so for a long period of time. Whether it is worth to buy an ebook is up to you. A big benefit, regardless of anyone's preference is the fact that books are very mobile as ebooks. No more packing 5 books when you go on vacation. A tablet for example, could allow you to surf the web, text message, watch videos AND read books all in one. In a world where technology becomes smaller and smaller (except for TVs) the ebook is becoming very popular. Especially with tablets which are compact.

Another benefit is the capability of editing the book. Usually when you purchase the book, you are presented with the final version. If the author would like to add something or has an up to date edition of his or her book it is not possible to give it to you unless you buy another copy. Ebooks are virtual and updating to a newer edition is a matter of going online and downloading it. Furthermore, making notes might be hard to do in a paper book, because once you use a marker it is not possible to undue this. Even with pencils, it is tedious to remove if you regret using it in the future. Digitally, this is no problem of course. Just a matter of using an erasing tool in your ebook reader.

Again, whether ebooks are a revolution we should be thankful of is a matter of taste. It is a fact though, that our lives are becoming more and more virtual. Theaters and operas had to make room for TVs. Board and card games had to make room for video games and now it's the books turn, which has to make room for virtual books. And although the essence, smell and experience of a conventional book could never be replaced, a digital alternative can come in handy sometimes.

The Most Common Mistakes Made When Writing eBooks

Writing eBooks is something that can be really enjoyable. But, the first few times you do it can be very intimidating and there are always a few problems that may be encountered. This is especially the case if you've never written eBooks before. Your eBook may never even be read by the audience that it was intended for. The more you write eBooks the easier it will be to not have these problems. Even so, having more experience doesn't make sure your eBook will be launched. That is the reason why I put together a list of the seven mistakes that are often made by eBook writers. Look over the following list carefully and you won't make the mistakes.

1. Procrastinating due to a lack of self confidence about your eBook
A lot of people that consider writing eBooks never even begin. The main cause of this is that they don't think their eBook is of a high enough quality to be written. This isn't true at all. You know something or have a new perspective on something and I guarantee that someone will find it helpful. You don't need to have a college degree to write a good eBook; the best ones tell us exactly what we need to know without too much excess. Thinking that your eBook won't be good enough isn't something to get caught up on.

2. Spending too long on research
I realize that there are many writers in the world that spend a lot of time researching before they begin. If you're knowledgeable on the topic that you're writing about and have a solid outline, don't waste your time with long hours of research before you start writing. The recommendation that I give is for you to spend no more than a day on research before you begin to write your eBook. If there are topics in your eBook that require you to do additional research, all you have to do is make a note of it and continue the research when you edit.

3. Writing and editing at the same time
Editing yourself while you're writing is not a good thing to do. You definitely should edit and revise your eBook, but that should be done separately from writing. Don't start editing during the process of writing.

4. Getting distracted from you writing
It's vital that you become engaged in your writing. You have to create an environment for yourself that allows you to really think. That is why it's detrimental to edit and write at the same time. An important thing to do is to get into a rhythm that allows you to write your best.

5. Never finishing the eBook because your expectations are too high
No matter what you do your eBook will never be immaculate. A wise decision to make would be to stop trying to obtain perfection. You should still try to make it the best that it can be but you should realize that when it's very good usually that's enough.

6. Leaving your eBook unedited and unrevised
I've already stated that it's bad to edit and write at the same time. Once you've finished the writing stage it's still important to make sure you proof-read and edit. After I've edited the eBook myself I usually give it to a friend to look over. Someone else can almost always help you catch your mistakes. If you don't think anyone you know is good for that kind of thing you can either hire someone or get software to help you.

7. Letting your insecurities prevent you from launching the eBook
There is no point to writing an eBook if no one ever reads it. Your work should be profitable either from selling the eBook or from obtaining email lists. Despite this you may be afraid that your eBook will be received badly. Even after I was done writing my first eBook I took two weeks before finally releasing it. Don't let this happen to you.

The solution to all of this is to create a system for yourself that's broken down into many different steps. If you follow the system one step at a time you should be able to avoid the problems.

How To Set Up A Marketing Strategy To Sell Your eBook

The offer of a free ebook can be an extremely effective way of attracting considerable numbers of viewers to your squeeze page, substantially increasing your website traffic and marketing your brand.

Many business owners fail to realise that as with any marketing campaign, the launch of an ebook should be planned and precisely targeted using a number of marketing initiatives.

With this in mind, the marketing strategy for an ebook should include several elements such as:

Objectives - what is the point of offering an ebook? Driving traffic? Self-promotion?

Tactics - how will you make your target market aware that you are offering a free ebook on your website? Will you mail your current contacts, advertise or write an online taster article?

Measurement - how will you measure how successful your promotion has been? Will you use Google Analytics to measure fluctuations in website traffic? Number of new subscriptions?

Follow-up - subscribers will quickly lose interest if all you do is offer the ebook to increase web traffic over the short term. Continue to add value and benefits to your offerings through personalised messages offering tips, create more ebooks, offer discounts and be sure to maintain communication.

Always ensure that your ebook contains a link to your website, preferably at the very beginning, so that your main objective - driving targeted individuals to your site is given priority. Even if the reader loses interest or becomes distracted and doesn't manage to finish the book, their curiosity will have been roused at the very beginning and so they will have visited your site before becoming immersed in the book's content.

Promoting an ebook is also a great way of collating email addresses from your target market, so remember to ask them to complete only 2/3 fields of information in order for them to receive the document. Make it as easy as possible for them to receive the end product, or else they may lose interest and abandon the exercise altogether. Most website owners will ask for name and email address only.

There are a number of online ebook directories to which you should submit your offering, once it becomes available. One of the most popular is free-ebooks.net.

Offering an ebook on your site is a well used marketing tactic - and it's free! However, as with launching any product onto the market, you should of course integrate this tactic into your marketing mix rather than use it as a standalone measure.

Do you have an e-book but are asking yourself how can I promote it, what is SEO and how it can help? Why not get in touch today?

Turning Online Articles Into eBooks

Over the years, after retirement I have taken many of my experiences, observations, and the knowledge from the various industries I participated in and compiled that information into a series of online articles. I am just trying to give back to a world which is given me so much. Of course one of the challenges I had right away was the fact that I am not a writer, rather I am an entrepreneur and business person. I guarantee you those two types of personalities are not often in the same person, at least not at the levels that I had participated in. Okay so, I'd like to talk about this for second if I might.

Let's say you are truly knowledgeable in your field, you know what you're talking about, and you have put your thoughts and experiences into a series of online articles. Once you have 100 or more of these articles, it might make sense to take those articles and repurpose them into an e-book. What I suggest is that you do is take your articles and make each one of them a subtitle in the e-book, and list them in the table of contents. You should group them together by subcategories, and then create a very nice introduction section, and a section of your e-book at the end explaining more about yourself; the author.

Why do I suggest that you do this? Because in the last year there have been tens of millions of the e-readers sold, not to mention all the iPads. So why not put your articles into a collection, and into a format in which potential readers might enjoy. I can tell you this, I've been to Starbucks each week, and every time I go, there are more and more people who are sitting around reading from their e-readers. Rather than try to fight it, maybe it's time that you acquiesce and took some of that content that you have worked so hard to create and make it available to your future clientele and happy and loyal readers?

Now then, I would not recommend that you just throw together crappy articles, but rather you pick your very best articles, and place them into your collection and then use the proper formatting for your e-book. As long as you haven't written "thousands of articles which are nearly identical with little or no content value," then this should work for you. It's the least you can do to deliver your important knowledge to the world. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

How to Set Up A Marketing Strategy to Sell Your eBook - Selecting A Channel

Without readers, your eBook will fail. It doesn't matter if you sell it on Kindle, your own website or your favourite corner. A book without a reader -- and that includes eBooks -- is meaningless. The question is how do you get readers? What do you need to do to ensure that people find and buy your eBook?

The answer is marketing.

Marketing is the process by which you find your customer, get in front of them, attract their attention and then present your product. It includes sales and in many ways, it includes how you will deliver the eBook. And it begins before you write our book.

Yes, you heard me right. Marketing your book begins before you write a word. In fact, it begins before you even plan your book.

The whole point of marketing is to sell your eBook or book. Or for that matter, any other related product. It describes how you will make a profit and what the products will be about.

So how do you do it?

Well as I've mentioned it begins long before you write your eBook. Arguably, it begins within the determination of the company strategy. More specifically, it needs you to determine your market or micro-market, your business model, your reader and identify your problem and solution. However, for the purposes of this article I'm going to assign those tasks to company strategy development and instead focus on those tasks that are unique to marketing.

As part of the process of identifying your reader, you will have determined how to gain their attention. Basically, you are asking, "Where are they hanging out?" Typically, these are forums, blogs and magazine sites. YouTube and Google are also two key locations that most readers will visit regularly. However, don't ignore your competition and others who deal with these same customers.

Your job now is twofold. First, you need to determine which of these opportunities you will use in order to gain your readers' attention. While it would be nice to be everywhere your reader is, practicality says you need to choose only a few. After all, you only have a few hours per day. And being on forums and blogs all day is probably not a good use of your time.

The second task is to select the marketing methods you will use. Each of these opportunities or channels has several methods you can use to market through them. For example, article marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and Google AdWords are three alternatives you can use if you select the Google channel. Of course, not all the methods will be useable. For example, reading and responding to blog posts is a method for addressing the blog channel. However, so is spamming blogs. It isn't very effective and it will soon result in your being banned. But it is a method.

Selling Digital Products In Your Spare Time

Are you thinking about starting your own online business? Or have you already started your own online business? No matter your situation, you should know that starting a successful online business is a good thing to pursue. Not only does it require little maintenance, but you won't have to worry about a lot of other things that appear in a physical business. This is especially true if you're selling digital products.

What is a "digital product"? Well it's simply a product that can be downloaded after someone makes a purchase online. The most common form of digital products are ebooks, MP3 files, WMV or AVI video files, newsletters, and even podcasts. It's an excellent business model to pursue - only if you know how to market them correctly.

When it comes to selling digital items, you should know that the best item that you can sell is a product that you created yourself. The most basic form of this is an ebook. You can create a 100+ page ebook over the course of a weekend, and have it ready for sale by Monday morning.

When you create your own products, you don't have to go and get a reseller's license, you have an infinite amount of inventory on hand (since it's digital), and you don't need a lot of equipment. The fastest way to create your own ebook is to type it up in a program like Microsoft Word, and then upload it online to a free "PDF converter" site that will turn it into an Adobe Acrobat PDF file.

You can also price your product nicely also. Since you're more than likely a beginner to selling digital products, you will probably want to start off at a low price. Stick to a price of around $19. After you get sales with this $19 product, upsell your customer to a $29 product. After they buy that, upsell them again to a $49 product. After they've bought that, upsell them to a $97 product. This is how all the major gurus are doing it.

In your online business selling digital products, you will want to add an element to your business called a "continuity product". This is basically a product where you charge your customers every month for a product that gets delivered to them automatically. Some of the best continuity models online is a membership site, a CD of the month club, a DVD of the month club, or even an offline newsletter.

You have a lot of options at your disposal, so you don't have to stick with just using one model. Plus, all of these continuity models are incredibly easy to maintain and create. Plus they cost very little to produce. In the case of a membership site, you don't have to produce anything.

Selling digital products is something that you will definitely want to consider using in your business. They're easy to create, and I think it's something that you can handle with no sweat. Start selling digital products today, and you'll be sure to bring in a lot of sales, with very little maintenance.

Good luck with succeeding in your own online business.

How To Write An eBook To Build Passive Online Income For Years To Come

Writing an eBook can be a daunting experience when you are just getting started with your online business, but it doesn't have to be this way if you know how to begin. This is still the fastest way to create a product and have something to sell on the Internet. Before you get started you'll want to think about choosing an appealing title, setting up your outline, and putting up a blog to start collecting the names and email addresses of your prospects.

You may have heard the saying that a rose is still a rose, but by any other name it wouldn't smell as sweet. This is true for the title of your eBook as well. You want something that is catchy and easy to remember, but also one that has a good keyword phrase in it as well. Do some research using the free keyword tool available from Google, ask friends and business prospects what they think, and go over to Amazon to search for books on your topic. All of these techniques are excellent for choosing a title that will make people want to buy and read what you've written on your topic.

An outline is crucial to the eBook writing process. I learned this the hard way when I tried to just start writing in front of my blank computer screen the first time. Once I learned how to set up an outline with my key points and subtitles, it was simply a matter of filling in the blanks to get it written in less than two weeks. You can do the same exact thing.

I also recommend setting up a WordPress blog to start letting people know about you and your topic long before your eBook is finished and ready to sell. This will give you the exposure you need in the marketplace and allow you to start building a list of people who will be likely to buy when the time is right. Blogging also gives you a platform through which you are able to interact with your audience and to find out their questions and primary concerns on your topic. You may even end up adding to your writing when you find out what your prospects want and need from you in this way.

You can see that there is more to writing and marketing your eBook than you may have originally thought, but it will be well worth it in the end.
